Shadow Minister for Families and Social Services, Shadow Minister for the NDIS, Shadow Minister for Women and Member for Lindsay

Melissa has spent her working life serving the community and helping those in need. 

She was born in Nepean Hospital, went to Western Sydney University and met her husband, Stuart, locally. Together, they have three children – Byron, Coby and Summer. 

Working in the leadership team of a Penrith not-for-profit, Melissa has been a strong advocate for affordable housing. She knows how to listen and deliver for the community. 

Melissa understands the pressures facing local families. She will fight for better transport infrastructure to ease congestion. 

Melissa is passionate about boosting local tourism and sports and recreational facilities, to encourage healthy lifestyles and opportunities in the region. 

Melissa understands the importance of backing small businesses to create local jobs, so more people can work close to where they live. 

Melissa knows a strong economy is the key to guaranteeing record investments for local schools, hospitals and other essential services.
