Kalvin Biag will stand up for Prospect
Western Sydney local and multicultural advocate, Kalvin Biag, will stand as the Liberal candidate for Prospect as part of Kellie Sloane’s Liberal team.
Kalvin works for a national not-for-profit organisation advocating for some of the most vulnerable Australians. He has also volunteered locally with the State Emergency Service, Rotary and serves as a Justice of the Peace.
Kalvin understands the challenges facing local small businesses, coming from a multicultural family that has run small businesses for more than 15 years.
“I am honoured by the opportunity to stand up for the community that has been my home and my family, and I am standing to give Prospect a strong and dedicated voice in the NSW Parliament,” Mr Biag said.
“As a lifelong local, I am deeply passionate about the plight of Western Sydney. I am determined to fight for our diverse, hardworking community and ensure our needs are no longer ignored.
“Western Sydney families are being stretched to the breaking point under the Minns Labor Government. Whether it’s the rising household bills or essential local infrastructure falling behind, our community is paying the price for Labor’s neglect.
“Our community deserves better – practical relief for local families, better community amenities, and support for our small businesses.
“Prospect needs a local champion who understands these pressures and will deliver real results, by tackling the cost of living with practical relief for families and individuals, restoring cost of living support, delivering toll relief, and delivering more homes to help renters, first homebuyers and downsizers.”
As part of Kellie Sloane’s Liberal team, Kalvin will fight to deliver secure the vital services, transport, and infrastructure that Western Sydney desperately needs.
