Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells has served as a Senator for New South Wales since 2005.  She was the Minister for International Development and the Pacific from February 2016 to August 2018.

She also served as the Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs with portfolio responsibilities in the Attorney-General, Immigration and Border Protection, and Social Services, as well as serving as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Social Services, with special responsibility for multicultural affairs and settlement services.
