Mike Creed is the Liberal candidate for Macquarie.
As a Hawkesbury City councillor, former small business owner and lifelong local, Mike has a strong record of giving back to our community.
Mike was born and raised in the lower Mountains. He attended Blaxland East Public, Blaxland High and Penola Catholic College.
Mike began his career as an operations manager in a family run business before launching Penrith’s first pet-friendly café.
Mike has a strong track record of supporting the community, as a councillor on Hawkesbury City Council and volunteering, including organising the Glenbrook Festival and serving as a director on the Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce. Previously he was as an ambassador for Music for Life.
Mike understands the challenges facing businesses. He knows the importance of a strong economy in supporting local jobs and driving investment in infrastructure, schools, and hospitals.
As part of the Liberal team, Mike will work to strengthen the economy and reduce inflation, ease the burden of mortgages, rents, and everyday expenses.
Locally he’ll fight to upgrade roads, protect and enhance our natural environment and provide more support for local households and businesses.
