NSW vehicle owners are urged to check their eligibility for a CTP Green Slip refund, with the 30 September deadline approaching, and more than $29 million still unclaimed from 759,592 policyholders.
Minister for Customer Service Victor Dominello said more than $194 million had been claimed by over 3 million policyholders. Any unclaimed money will go towards further reducing Green Slips, by lowering the motor accidents levy.
“We are committed to easing the cost of living for households, which is why we delivered this refund, potentially worth up to $120 per refund,” Mr Dominello said.
“Claiming a refund is simple and easy and can be done via Service NSW either online, over the phone or in store.
“Any unclaimed money will go towards offsetting Green Slip levies from January 2020. The refund is a double win for drivers, who are paying $492 on average for premiums – the most affordable since 2012.”
