Opposition Leader Luke Foley has today confirmed his commitment to ANZ stadium, revealing that NSW Labor intends to invest $2 billion in stadiums.
Sports Minister Stuart Ayres said that Mr Foley’s fraud was laid bare on Ray Hadley’s program on 2GB this morning.
“Luke Foley backed in Western Sydney Stadium, confirmed his commitment to a world class permanent rectangular stadium at ANZ and said he will keep all options open at Allianz,” Mr Ayres said.
“Luke Foley’s stadia campaign is breathtaking in its deception. He has the audacity to stand in front of banners proclaiming Labor will put schools and hospitals first - knowing we are already doing that – all the while planning his own $2 billion plan.
“Mr Foley has known all along that he planned to rebuild in Parramatta and at Sydney Olympic Park.
“How can anyone trust Labor when they have been blatantly misleading the NSW public on their plans for stadia?”
