Liberals commit $5 million upgrade for Shell Cove Sports and recreation facility

Nathaniel Smith
Liberal Candidate for Whitlam
An elected Dutton Liberal Government will commit $5 million to upgrade the Shell Cove Sports and Recreation Facility.
This commitment will include upgrades to improve facilities, including the construction of a turf wicket sports field, training nets, changerooms, amenities and parking.
Liberal candidate for Whitlam, Nathaniel Smith, said this commitment is a downpayment on the sporting success of the Illawarra.
“I’m excited for Shell Cove families and clubs to benefit from this commitment, like the mighty Shellharbour Suns and Swans and the Shellharbour City Cricket Club,” said Mr Smith.
“Shellharbour is a great place to live, but community facilities are in dire need of an upgrade.”
Senator for New South Wales, Andrew Bragg, said a Dutton Liberal Government would not take the Illawarra for granted and prioritise delivering for Whitlam families.
“Nathaniel Smith understands the crucial role of local sport in bringing Shellharbour and all of its suburbs together,” Senator Bragg said.
“Nathaniel has been a tireless advocate on behalf local families and has the experience to deliver for this community.”
This commitment is part of the Liberals’ plan to get Australia back on track.
