The Liberals have released their Plan for the Central Coast, in direct response to damage to the living standards of Central Coast families, caused by Labor’s cost of living crisis.
At the heart of the Plan is how a Dutton Liberal Government will help local families on the Central Coast get back on track, with low inflation, immediate cost of living relief and investment in important local infrastructure.
A Dutton Liberal Government will upgrade Terrigal Drive, Avoca Drive, Nioka Avenue and Warnervale Airport, as well as deliver critical road projects under the $86.5 million Central Coast Roads Package, which has been delayed by Labor.
On the Central Coast, the cost of food, electricity, gas, insurance, mortgages, rents and transport have all gone up under Labor. Liberal candidate for Robertson, Lucy Wicks, said that Central Coast families want a government that puts their needs first.
“Our Plan will deliver low inflation, cheaper energy, affordable housing, safer communities, and better healthcare for Central Coast families,” Ms Wicks said.
“Locals families feel let down by Labor and want to know there is a plan to get them back on track.”
Liberal candidate for Dobell, Brendan Small, said in contrast to the Albanese Government’s misguided priorities, a Dutton Coalition Government will focus its energies on alleviating the cost of living crisis for Central Coast families.
“There’s not one local family that I’ve spoken to, throughout this campaign, that can afford another three years of Labor,” Mr Small said.
“Central Coast families deserve better and that is exactly what they will get under a Dutton Liberal Government.”
Only the Liberals have a plan to deliver for families on the Central Coast and get Australia back on track.
