Retirement of Victor Dominello MP
Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government, Minister for Small Business and Minister for Fair Trading Victor Dominello has today confirmed that he will be retiring from politics at the next State election.
Throughout his 14 years in the NSW Parliament, Victor has worked tirelessly for the people of our State. As a minister since 2011, Victor helped lead the NSW Government into the digital age, making it easier for people to access Government services, as well as delivering nation-leading initiatives such as the Digital Driver Licence.
He has also overseen the transformation of Service NSW, which has fundamentally changed the way people interact with the NSW Government, and helped them access support and save time and money.
This included the rollout of the Service NSW app, which during the pandemic helped keep people safe via QR check-ins, as well as provide valuable support for businesses via the rollout of the successful Dine & Discover vouchers.
Victor is a passionate Member for Ryde, and as part of the NSW Liberal & Nationals Government has helped deliver new and upgraded schools, a new education precinct, funding for rebuilding Ryde Hospital, and other significant investments in his community.
On behalf of the NSW Government and the NSW Liberal Party, I thank Victor for his significant contribution to public life and our state.
Victor will continue to serve as a Minister and the Member for Ryde in the lead up to the election and I look forward to working alongside him as part of a Government that is focused on delivering for the people of NSW.
I wish Victor and his family all the very best for the future.
