Liberals commit to Seymour Park revitalisation
An elected Dutton Liberal Government has committed $900,000 to revitalise Seymour Park in Adaminaby.
This grassroots community initiative has been proposed by the Adaminaby Community Action Group (ACAG) to activate Seymour Park as an accessible space for all ages and abilities.
A revitalised Seymour Park – in the heart of the Adaminaby township – will feature nature[1]inspired landscaping and play areas with recreational amenities designed to be enduring features of the town.
Liberal candidate for Eden-Monaro, Jo van der Plaat, said that a revitalised Seymour Park is just what Adaminaby needs to bring the town together.
“This commitment will turn the vision of ACAG into a reality and create something truly beautiful for all of Adaminaby to share and enjoy,” Mrs van der Plaat said.
“I am pleased to be backing this grassroots community initiative to create a space that will provide a place of connection in Adaminaby that will endure for generations to come.
“The Liberals’ commitment would not have been possible without the tireless work of the local volunteers who comprise ACAG – all of whom are committed to making Adaminaby an even more beautiful place to live.”
This commitment is part of the Liberals’ plan to get Australia back on track.
