Bus launch for Liberals’ Eden-Monaro campaign
Liberals in Eden-Monaro have launched a campaign bus to help federal election candidate Jo van der Plaat spread her message that only the Liberals can get Australia back on track.
The repurposed school bus will help Jo and Liberal volunteers cross the division, which is over 30,000 square kilometres in size and stretches from Goulburn to Eden via Queanbeyan and Cooma.
Cooma lawyer and mum-of-two Jo is campaigning on being a strong, active regional voice in a Peter Dutton-led Coalition Government that will deliver practical solutions for Eden-Monaro.
“I am committed to getting to every pocket of Eden-Monaro to meet local residents and talk about their hopes and concerns,” said Jo.
“It is clear from the countless people I have already engaged with that Eden-Monaro can’t afford another three years of Labor.
“Our new campaign bus is pivotal to getting my Liberal team across eastern New South Wales and I’m delighted it is now on the road.
“Unlike Labor who are cashed up with unions funding their campaigns, I’ve worked incredibly hard to fundraise every dollar that goes into this campaign.
“With the cost of living increasingly impacting everyday Australians, our campaign bus not only brings people together, but it’s also a cheaper and safer alternative to our volunteers all out on the road in their own cars.
“A Liberal Government will strengthen our economy and get our country back on track.”
